MY REVIEW:

I was hoping, by continuing the series, I would get more connected to the characters and the story, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

I’ll admit the situation Bea finds herself in is terrifying, and I can”t even begin to imagine how that feels. I was glad she had Knox by her side, although sometimes her stubbornness got on my nerves a lot. I didn’t completely understand the secrecy of their relationship, I would have acted differently, but probably that’s just who I am. Although certain things are being revealed, now, I still wasn’t able to connect with the story, which is really a shame. One character I’m interested in knowing more about, is Alyssa. She has a very mysterious halo around her, so I’m very curious about her.

Considering I believe Kipling may be my favourite Benedict brother, I am very thrilled for Broken Promises, and I look forward to seeing if we can discover who The Gentleman is.
